History
1993
The MOTEC GmbH was founded by Dipl.-Ing. Claus Barckmann and Dipl.-Ing. Ingo Klintz.
First projects are carried out in the field of planning and design of reorganization measures in a batteries factory.
At the same time, the concept of industrial extraction and the continuous development of the Vortex extraction elements were steadily pursued.
The founder team and two employees move into a small office building on an industrial site in Büdingen.
1998
Since the foundation Mr Barckmann and Mr Klintz succeed to establish the products successfully in various industries e.g. in the accumulator, the metal processing and the chemical industry.
The company was characterized by permanent growth through customer focussed service and flexibility. The team is supplemented by its own technicians and electricians.
2005
Due to further growth and opening up other industries, e.g. the food industry, a continuation of the business in the existing company premises is no longer possible.
They decide to move to its present location in the Orleshäuserstraße in Büdingen.
With the moving the company has now its own workshop and started partly an in -house production.
2006
On the site a 200 m² warehouse is built for the storage of piping and filter components. This allows reduced delivery times and fast service and maintenance.
2007
Another covered storage area of 200 m² is built, now even large filter systems can be properly stored after manufacturing to shipping.
2011
The first project in Yokohama, Japan is realized.
This is the extraction of melting furnaces for the production of platinum alloys.
The demand-controlled filter unit, the piping system and the extraction elements are installed, adjusted and started up by a team of qualified MOTEC technicians.
2012
MOTEC supplies and installs a central vacuum cleaning system for a PC production to Guangzhou, China.
The piping system was installed under the guidance of a MOTEC engineer by local fitters. The entire control system is realized by MOTEC technicians.
2015
After the retirement of Claus Barckmann his daughter, Dr.-Ing. Katrin Barckmann, takes over the shares of her father in the second generation in January.
Planning and installation of a 40,000 m³/h filter unit incl. extraction elements and the piping system at the the product fed of talcum with a customer in the automotive industry.
With the modernization of the system technology, energy savings of over 50% to the old system could be realized.
Ingo Klintz died on December 14, 2015 at the age of only 54 in a tragic car accident.
He has played a key role in shaping the company and the subsequent success story of MOTEC and will always remain in our memories.
2016
In March, Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Sebastian Klossek, a long-time employee and authorized officer, joins the company management.
From now on the company is jointly managed by Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Sebastian Klossek and Dr.-Ing. Katrin Barckmann.
In September MOTEC is exhibiting for the first time in company history at the Fachpack in Nuremberg. On three days, existing business relationships were maintained and new partners and customers were won.
2024
On May 31, 2024, Dr.-Ing. Katrin Barckmann will resign from the management and leave the company. From now on, MOTEC will be managed by Mr. Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Sebastian Klossek as sole managing partner.
